Behind the work
The campaign had to build anticipation, answer questions, and keep working when the festival went live.
The assignment
Through Inspire Productions, I supported the Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival with social strategy, design, campaign content, and live coverage. The 2024 team report records more than three months of planning, scheduling, and producing content for both the festival and the Catfish Got Talent Battle of the Bands.
My role in a shared team
I collaborated with the marketing team and Friends of Conroe board and committee members on posters, social graphics, and event signage. The report specifically documents my three-day onsite coverage, audience questions and comments, and drone footage for future promotional use. Other team members’ radio, merchandise, logistics, and additional content contributions are credited as team work.
Before, during, and after
The work moved from advance promotion into live event communication: capturing content as the event unfolded, responding to attendees, and collecting reusable visual material.
What the 2024 results show
The report’s Instagram snapshots show 2,121 and 2,633 followers: 512 additional followers, or 24.14% growth. It also reports 3,823 additional Facebook followers. A paid campaign records 32,176 link clicks on $497.62 spend, with displayed cost per link click of $0.0155. These demonstrate audience growth and traffic generation within the team’s campaign work; they do not establish ticket conversions, attendance, or revenue.
The 2025 creative system
The 2025 artist graphics give each performer a distinct look within a recognizable festival series. Portraits and artist names lead, while the festival identity, stage, date, and venue give fans the details they need. The performance figures come from the separate 2024 campaign.
What I take from it
A festival campaign has several jobs: attract attention, make practical information easy to find, and respond when people need help. The work demonstrates how I connect planning, creative production, and audience communication within a team. Clicks and follower growth are useful signals, while sales attribution would require ticketing data.
Takeaway
The strongest event work combines a plan, a recognizable visual system, and an active response to the people attending.

2024 marketing-team report, pp. 2–4. These are account/campaign outcomes from a shared team effort, not isolated effects of Kayla’s work. The source does not give complete timestamps for each follower snapshot. The 2025 graphics in the gallery are a separate year of creative work.
Professional festival assignments through Inspire Productions. Kayla’s individual scope is documented on p. 1 of the 2024 team report; outcomes are attributed to the shared campaign. The report repeats its four-campaign list, so figures are not added twice, and overlapping accounts/campaigns are not summed. Follower snapshot dates are incomplete. The 2025 artist graphics are displayed as a distinct year of creative execution. Public display cleared by Kayla; no ticket-sales or return-on-investment claim.
